Growing native plants from seed is fun, easy and an inexpensive way to add ecologically productive plants to your landscape. The time to plant these seeds is actually late fall to early winter! Come learn the process with Sue Theriault of the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society. Seeds, potting mix and some containers will be provided at this hands on workshop. If you have a gallon size plastic milk jug or a clear plastic lettuce clamshell, bring it to learn how to repurpose these as winter sowing containers. Registration required as space is limited. Stop in or call the library to register – 401-635-8562.
