Reading Basics for Parents of Young Readers

Do you want to understand the basics of early reading skills from a teaching perspective? Come for an hour to learn these basics: the difference between “sight words” and “sound out words”, the six basic syllable types, the exceptions (rule breakers), and some fun ways to help your early reader learn at his/her own level of readiness.
