SUMMARY:ADRC (Aging and Disability Resource Center) Services - REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED BUT APPRECIATED
DESCRIPTION:The library will have one-on-one appointments available each month with The Point\, part of the United Way of RI. They assist residents in making informed choices and decisions and streamlines access to long term services and supports for older adults\, adults with disabilities\, and their caregivers. They are available to help with information\, referral\, and appointments for  publicly funded programs such as Medicaid\, SNAP\, subsidies to obtain low cost of medication\, RIPAE (RI Pharmaceutical Assistance for Elders)\, LIHEAP (Low Income Heating Assistance Program). She is also available to help with information\, referral\, and appointments for the following community resources such as SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program)\, MIPPA (Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act)\, SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol).
