RI Museum of Science and Art presents Electric Dough!

Explore the properties of electricity and creativity using conductive dough. Through hands-on art/science activities, you will learn how circuits work, and the difference between conductive and resistive materials.  Use LED lights, play-dough and imagination to create electric artwork!   Wednesday, July 5th at 6pm under the tent Intended audience for ages 5 & up.  

Casey Farm presents Project CHICK

On Thursday, April 20th at 10:30am, Casey Farm will be here for a hands-on presentation about Dominique chickens and eggs. The presenter will also bring chicks that can be held after the slideshow. Photo greeting cards on sale at the library!

Come check out original photo greeting cards made by National Park Ranger, Alyssa Parker-Geisman. The images are from national parks around the country and beyond. The cards sell for $3 each or 4 for $10, and proceeds will benefit the Friends of Brownell Library. Thank you for your support!

Winter storytime begins January 30th

Winter storytime at Brownell Library will run from January 30th through March 14th, with no storytime on February 7th. Toddler storytime is on Mondays at 11am, and Preschool storytime and craft is on Tuesdays at 11am. All storytimes are drop in, no registration is required!
