Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly present a wonderful program of traditional American and Celtic folk songs and percussive dance. This performance will feature a wide variety of instruments including the dulcimer, harmonica, banjo, and mandolin as well as a thrilling interpretation of freestyle Appalachian clog dancing.

Diane Edgecomb, author of A Fire in My Heart: Kurdish Tales, will perform “One Thousand Doorways: Journey Among the Kurds of Turkey.” Ms. Edgecomb’s chance meeting with a young Kurdish refugee set her on a path of danger and discovery as she searched for the lost stories of an oppressed culture.
